Store Closing Sale - Foster's Shoes and Pedorthics

We are sad to announce that Foster’s Shoes Toronto will be permanently closing on May 28th, 2022.

Foster’s Shoes started in 1953 and was founded by William Foster and Hank Newby. The original focus was children’s shoes and specialized orthopaedic fitting.

The first location was on Yonge St but as the company grew and the city expanded, Foster’s opened on Lawrence Ave East. First in the Colony plaza in 1962 and then moved to 1894 Lawrence Ave East in 1967.

John and Edward carried on the business over the last 25 years and helped expand the business to sell Men’s and Women’s footwear.

After more than 50 years working in many capacities for Foster’s Shoes, John and Edward have decided to retire.

Over the years they have been very fortunate to have had many dedicated and devoted employees who all contributed to the 70 years of business.

Until closing, all footwear is now 10% to 50% off. Current store hours are Tue-Fri 10-5, and Sat 10-4. Check them out at 1894 Lawrence Ave. E.
