New Capacity Limits Beginning Dec 19, 12AM

In response to Ontario's rapidly increasing positive COVID-19 cases, the provincial government has announced capacity limits for all indoor settings as well as limited operating hours on bars & restaurants as well as restrictions on social gatherings.

Effective Sunday December 19, 2021 at 12:01 AM the following restrictions will be in place: 

  • 50% capacity limits to ALL indoor settings including bars and restaurants (excludes wedding, funeral and religious ceremonies)
  • Limits placed on the hours of operations for bars and restaurants: Must be closed for service at 11:00 PM (excluding Take-Out & Delivery). Alcohol sales must end at 10:00 PM.
  • All patrons MUST remain seated. Masks must be worn unless eating or drinking.
  • Businesses or facilities need to post a sign stating the capacity limits that are permitted in the establishment.
  • Limits placed on the number of patrons per table at restaurants and meeting / event spaces to 10 people per table. Patrons MUST remain seated.
  • Prohibiting food and drink services in: Sporting Events, Concert Venues, Theatres, Casinos, Bingo Halls, Gaming Establishments, Horse Racing Tracks and other similar venues.
  • Nightclubs, Restoclubs and similar establishments must operate solely as a food and drink establishment WITHOUT dance facilities. Karaoke is also not permitted.
  • Indoor social gatherings are limited to 10 people. Outdoor social gatherings are limited to 25 people.
